FNQ Bookkeepers are proud to be locally owned and family operated by Emmy Walters. Emmy has long-standing experience in commercial finance and has spent the past decade as Finance Manager with a prominent large-scale family business where she managed both business and personal finance, and the daily bookkeeping. Emmy has a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and is a proud member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, a Registered BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board and a Xero Silver Partner and Certified Advisor. She also has experience working across MYOB, Reckon, Hubdocs and other accounting platforms, giving her the flexibility to support businesses regardless of their current systems. Emmy is excited to help business owners achieve sustainable success.
Born and raised in Cairns, Emmy grew up in a family that owned and operated a small business. From an early age she saw the dedication, risks and personal sacrifices involved in keeping a business successful. Those experiences shaped her passion for helping others in the same position. Emmy believes that financial clarity builds the foundation for success. By setting up systems, streamlining processes and taking the stress out of bookkeeping, she gives business owners the chance to focus on what they do best. Her approach is simple, practical and always aimed at making life easier for her clients.
